Description

We book the hotels, ferries, tunnel etc. for you. One of our trip guides will ride the routes with you, highlighting some of the features along the route. We book the hotels, ferries, tunnel etc. for you. One of our trip coordinators will be on the trip and will be at every hotel. They will share their knowledge over dinner/breakfast. The trip coordinator may or may not ride with you. We book the hotels, ferries, tunnel etc. for you and provide you with the route plans. After that, it’s up to you.

Riding Experience

These are recommendations. Anyone can join with any experience.

 

Each rider is totally responsible for ensuring they’re riding experience and skill level is appropriate.

Riders:

A year/3000 miles of on-road riding experience. Ideally having undertaken post-test training such as BikeSafe.

Happy to ride on all types of tarmac road from single track to tolled motorway.

 

Pillion:

A years’ experience as a pillion

Riders:

A year/5000 mile of on-road riding experience. Ideally advanced riding (IAM, RoSPA or equivalent) qualified.

Happy to ride for several consecutive days. Understands that some of the best destinations are a bit further away.

 

Pillion:

A years’ experience as a pillion.

Riders:

2 years/6000 mile of on-road riding experience. Ideally advanced riding (IAM, RoSPA or equivalent) qualified.

Want to ride on the best roads Europe has to offer and want to spend as much time as possible riding those roads.

Previous experience of riding in Europe and of multi-location touring holidays preferred.

 

Pillion:

Two years’ experience as a pillion and happy to spend consecutive days on the bike.

Bike

Ideally 400cc or bigger for solo/500cc or bigger for pillion.

Luggage capacity as required.

Ideally 500cc or bigger for solo/600cc or bigger for pillion.

Luggage capacity as required. All day comfort is important.

Recommended 750cc or bigger for solo/800cc or bigger for pillion.
